Suitable for use with water or fuel lines (in automotive applications), this PTFE tape comes supplied on a plastic spool for easy application. It can be used on all materials including steel, alloy, plastic, copper and ceramics.

PTFE tape provides lubrication and filling properties, allowing a deeper seat of the threads to achieve a water tight seal without hardening. It also prevents seizing when being unscrewed.

Top tip: Wrap a minimum of three layers in the direction on the thread (normally clockwise). This will leave no mess, a watertight seal, and will prevent unwrapping as you tighten.

We do NOT recommend that you use PTFE tape as a long-term fix for damaged, degrading or incorrectly fitted joints that are already leaking.
