Frequently Asked Questions
What products do you do?
As a broad rule of thumb, we can source both specialist and “off-the-shelf” products that fall within the main product categories available on our website, i.e. abrasives, fasteners and fixings, chemicals, oil and lubricants, general workshop consumables etc. We don’t provide “car parts” e.g. body panels, engine parts, brakes, transmissions, suspension and steering. We also don’t quote on tools because the returns rate tends to be very high on this product category. This isn’t by no means an exhaustive list (we have access to thousands of products), so if you’re not sure please ask us and we can advise accordingly.
What is the delivery timeframe?
This will vary depending on the request. For standard “off-the-shelf” products, we can usually send these out to you within 5 working days. For specialist orders, non-preferred products or large volume quantity enquiries, it may take longer dependant on stock availability. We will provide you with an expected lead time when we contact you.
Will it be more expensive?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. For standard “off-the-shelf” products no premium will be added to the cost. For large quantity and volume orders, you will normally receive a discounted rate per item. If your request requires any customisation this will be factored into the price we quote you.
Can you send a sample?
Possibly, we will need to assess this on a case-by-case basis. Please tell us when making your request that you require a sample. It may be necessary for us to charge a delivery fee or take a deposit, but we can discuss this with you in advance. Any return costs, if applicable, will need to be at your own cost.
When and how do I pay?
You will need to pay the full balance in advance of receiving your items, the option to pay will be available in the quote we send to you. You will be able to pay in all the normal ways including by credit or debit card, bac transfer (select Pro Forma Invoice at checkout) or PayPal. We will not begin to process your order until your payment has been received in full, so please bear this in mind if delivery time is of the essence.
What will I pay for delivery?
Most orders will fall under our Standard Delivery Terms. If there are going to be additional charges, we will include these in our quote to you.
Can I return my item(s)?
We do not accept returns on any items ordered via this service unless the item is faulty, as outlined in our Returns Policy.
